Abilities are unique traits given to each mech and differ accordingly. Every mech gets an ability, although not all of them are specific to a mech. Some abilities last for a duration (eg camouflage) or have an instantaneous effect (eg weapons coolant). After use, the mechs ability will enter a "cooldown" phase where you cannot use it (excluding Mobile and Fortified Turret). The cooldown varies depending on the ability.

[edit] Camouflage

Makes you invisible and removes you from radar for 6-8 seconds (depending on level) or until any weapons or items are used. Turns player nearly invisible. Lasts for 8 seconds. Cooldown of 60 seconds.

Works really well for retreating, however firing a weapon or using an item will cancel your camouflage. You can use camouflage to sneak up on enemies with a fully charged heat cannon and secondary weapon. Works really well when enemies are oblivious to your location. Camouflage becomes useless if you are "spotted" by an enemy (HUD highlights your mech with a red outline). The red outline of your mech still remains on your enemies HUD if you go into camouflage mode while still spotted Your reticule will still highlight if you're aiming at someone who's camouflaged.

[edit] Ballistic Barrage

Increase all weapon and item damage for a short time. Adds 15% damage. Lasts for 10 seconds. Cooldown of 60 seconds.

Level 3: Cooldown Reduced by 5 Seconds

Greatly increases all damage dealt within two seconds of activating the ability.

Greatly increases accuracy for a short duration.

[edit] Weapons Coolant

Removes all weapon heat build up for a short time. Removes all heat buildup. Lasts for 1.5 seconds. Cooldown of 60 seconds. Best used just prior to overheating your mech during heavy combat when you are constantly spamming weapons.

Using this ability while overheated significantly reduces the cool down time. Weapon damage buff for a short period of time. Best used while in the middle/start of an engagement, to take down enemies faster.

Level 1: Increase Effect by 10 Heat per Second

Level 2: Increase Duration by 1 Second

Level 3: Decrease Cooldown by 5 Seconds

[edit] Fortified Turret

Convert to a heavy defense mode that gives constant slow armor repair. Takes 5 seconds to transform. Mech regains 8 Armor/second. All types of damage are reduced by 65%.

Level 2: Increase Regen by 1 Armor Per Second

Level 3: Reduce Trace and Explosive Damage Taken by 5% from the front

Takes 5 seconds to transform. Movement speed is 400 UU/sec. All types of damage are reduced by 60%.

Takes 5 seconds to transform. Weapons do 25% more damage. All types of damage are reduced by 65%.
