The Brawler is a Type-C Heavy Mech in Hawken.

[edit] Lore

The H1 Heppten, a.k.a. The Brawler, is nothing short of a walking tank. It is easily identified by its reactive armor plates and turret based gun-cam, but most often remembered for being near indestructible. Standard S deployment includes these walkers near middle and rear of the combat formation. Heppten engines are highly complex, which makes them extremely difficult to clean and maintain. 'Easier to rebuild a new bot from scratch than make these beasts work.' -FR_O 28

[edit] Tips

The brawler is a mech geared towards survivability, a key factor in winning a match against another mech is its obscene amount of armor and its ability to regenerate when in fortified turret mode. The Brawler doesn't quite come into its prime until level 4 when players can equip the SA Hawkins that allows the Brawler to take on targets much farther away than its flak cannon would normally allow.

When using a SA Hawkins geared Brawler, it's usually best to find the high ground, convert to defense mode and pick off people while your defense mode's passive ability repairs through any damage you might receive. Often times mechs that utilize weapons such as the assault rifle, sub machine cannon or SA Hawkins at medium or long ranges simply cannot deal enough damage to overdo your mech's armor regeneration. This armor regeneration is also useful for staving off death long enough to fire off a TOW rocket in the chance you get jumped.
