Death Match

Death Match is a free-for-all game mode in Hawken where players fight each other to get kills and end up with the most exp and win the match.

The mode is a free-for-all killing match. Each player is on his/her own team and must attempt to get the most exp points by the end of the match time. When you die you are brought to your deploy screen in game where you can choose if you want to swap mechs before respawning. Exp points are earned in Death Match by kills and assists.

Tips and Tricks

• During deathmatches, try to look out for multiple blips on your map; it's much easier to finish off players that are already weakened from an engagement. - Roundlay
• It's ALWAYS easier to sneak a kill in if someone is distracted. - cunningStunts
• Try to avoid boosting around too much when you are not engaging and enemy. Boosting reveals your location on the radar, and can draw unwanted attention. Try to remain stealthy until the time to pounce presents itself.
