Items
From Hawken Wiki
Items in Hawken are equipable items that can be used in battle. Mechs are limited to equipping one of each type of item at any given time. There are two kinds of items: Offensive items and support items. Items can be purchased for a mech in the garage. You have an unlimited number of items, but there is a cooldown period after each use.

Offensive items are used in battle to deal damage or disable your opponents systems. Purchasing offensive items is unlocked at level 2.

Support items are used in battle to avoid damage or absorb it. Support items are available for any level mech.
