The Rocketeer is a Type-C Heavy Mech in Hawken.

[edit] Lore

The H2 Domoff, also known as 'The Dog', is the oldest Type-C Heavy model currently in production. The Dog is an absolute nightmare to maintenance crews; mud and grime frequently clog the leg shields, and mud and grime are frequent on Illal. Well-conditioned Domoff mechs, however, are some of the fastest Type-C Heavy mechs available, which is why they aren't fully taken out of production. The war always continues, and all we can do is live, learn, and keep rolling. 'Engineering flaw if I dare say' - Lt. K.

[edit] Tips & Tricks

The Rocketeer is a helpful ally when needing support as the rockets can easily dispose of enemy mechs however it can easily be taken down on its own as it has no machine gun. To stay alive for longer with this mech you should stay with a mech who has a machine gun or sit behind a large group of friends and fire rockets overhead.

Despite the allure of high health, powerful rockets and heat sinks, you need to refrain from stepping into the front lines and fighting. As a C-(Heavy) class mech your movement is slow and your firing slower leaving you as bait for faster lighter mechs. Instead hang back in a hidden preferably elevated area in turret mode and target mechs with higher health so as to ease the load of the front line mechs. If it is necessary to be closer to the front lines have a technician constantly healing you while hanging behind and watching for flankers, sharpshooters and higher health mechs. Overall this is a support class mech and it should be the one setting up the kills not executing them. -DavisAce1
