Each mech in Hawken can have it's trim line adjusted, and a paint pattern applied to it. Trim lines can be adjusted for free, but paint patterns must be purchased from the store with Meteor credits. All paint is purely cosmetic.

[edit] Trim lines

Trim lines are a line of paint that wraps around the mech. They are a solid color set via the HSV scheme, and can be toggled off by region (either the upper chassis, strut arms, middle chassis, and/or the lower legs). The settings are:

Region: Where the trim color is applied. (Upper Chassis, Lower Legs, Strut Arms, Middle Chassis)

Hue: The color of the trim.

Saturation: The intensity of the trim color, from greyscale to intense color.

Value: How light or dark the trim color is.

[edit] Paint pattern

Paint patterns are colored patterns that are applied to the surface of a mech. All patterns must be purchased, except for the default pattern (which does not apply any pattern to the mech). The pattern can be limited to specific regions of the mech, and the scale and saturation of the pattern can be adjusted.

Region: Where your paint pattern is applied. (Upper Chassis, Lower Legs, Strut Arms, Middle Chassis)

Scale: The size of the paint pattern, from smallest to biggest.

Saturation: The intensity of the color of the selected pattern, from greyscale to intense color.
